Declan grew up on the Southside of Chicago in Beverly and is a graduate of the well-known Mount Carmel High School. Declan developed a passion for hockey at an early age. His time on the rink taught him the importance of hard-work and perseverance, and earned him the opportunity to play hockey at Western Michigan University while earning his degree in Marketing from the Hayworth College of Business. In this highly competitive environment he learned the importance of teamwork and leadership in achieving success.

As a mortgage banker, Declan continues to bring his work ethic, team approach and contagious attitude to help his clients navigate the mortgage process. He is an avid student of the industry and a graduate of XINNIX, The Mortgage Academy of Excellence. A distinction earned by less than 1% of all mortgage bankers in the United States.

Declan helped me with purchasing my first home. Needless to say I knew slim to nothing about the whole process which was very intimidating to me. He walked me through the whole process and made sure that everything was clear to me. He also worked restlessly to address any concerns I had and find the best rate possible. On the day of closing, my realtor timed how long it would take to close. He clocked it in at 36 mins which he said was the fastest closing he had been to in the +30 years he had been in the industry. A month after the closing, he also called me to check in and make sure that I was properly set up for my first mortgage payment. I will recommend him to everyone and anyone purchasing a home
