Illinois Jumbo Mortgage Loans Help Home Prices Increase - Posted May 20, 2013

Home prices are on the rise in Illinois. This will allow many current Illinois home owners to move up to more expensive homes where they may need a jumbo mortgage loan.  Typically, a jumbo mortgage is defined by a loan amount which exceeds $417,000 for a single family property.  Illinois jumbo mortgages have never been more competitive than they are right now.  As an example, one lender has recently introduced a 10% down loan program for home prices up to $850,000.
